Requests and Approvals

The request system allows employees to submit requests (leave, permits, overtime, etc.) and administrators to approve or reject them through configurable approval flows.

Request Types

Request types are configurable by the supervisor in the Request Types section:

Approval Flow

Each request type can have a custom approval flow, configured in the Request Flows section:

  1. Employee submits the request
  2. The request passes through one or more approval levels
  3. Admin approves, rejects or requests changes

Configuring a Flow

  1. Go to the Request Flows section
  2. Create a new flow
  3. Define the steps:
    • Approver — who must approve
    • Action type — approval, rejection, notification
    • Order — sequence of steps

Submitting a Request (Employee)

  1. Open the mobile app
  2. Go to the Requests section
  3. Select the request type
  4. Fill in details (dates, reason, attachments)
  5. Submit

Managing Requests (Admin)

  1. Go to the User Requests section
  2. View the list of pending requests
  3. For each request you can:
    • Approve — request is accepted
    • Reject — request is denied (with reason)
    • View — full details and attachments

Notifications

When a request is submitted, approved or rejected, the system sends automatic notifications:


Tip: Configure notification templates in the Notification Templates section to customize email messages sent to employees.
